The Role

We are seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Financial Systems team - reporting into the Financial Systems Manager. This role can work out of our Saint John or Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick office.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the platforms used by the accounting group - including Great Plains, Navision, and Dynamics 365.
  • Assist with upgrades and new software implementations.
  • Configure, support, and troubleshoot issues related to the core accounting systems and integrated platforms used within the accounting group (Kyriba, Metaviewer, Concur, etc.).
  • Identify and investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate on an action plan for resolution.
  • Create and maintain training materials and ability to provide one-on-one and group training.
  • Develop reports in Power BI, Management reporter, Excel, and other reporting tools.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels.
  • Capable of working well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrates systems thinking, and general analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience supporting applications in a highly integrated technical architecture is an asset.
  • Intermediate skills in SQL and advanced excel skills required.
  • Knowledge of Power BI and other reporting tools considered an asset.
  • Ability to document and effectively train employees on complex technical issues.
  • Experience with operational software administration and configuration.
  • Well-rounded understanding of accounting concepts considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel outside of Canada.
