OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

In this contract position the SAP Finance Consultant will be responsible for supporting various activities related to the transition to S/4HANA and ensuring seamless implementation.

WHAT YOU LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE:

• Assisting in the understanding and analysis of process impacts due to the transition to S/4HANA.
• Providing support for quality assurance, user acceptance testing (UAT), data conversion, training, operational readiness, business ramp-down/ramp-up, hyper care, and post-go-live support.
• Conducting training sessions for sector business units and support teams.
• Investigating and troubleshooting issues to support business sectors effectively.
• Assisting clients in preparing for system implementation by providing necessary clarifications and insights.
• Supporting data conversion activities, including analysis and issue resolution as needed.
• Collaborating with sector stakeholders to refine, enhance, and clarify business changes and facilitate solution adoption.

WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU LL NEED TO DO THE JOB:

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in asset accounting, capital policies, plant maintenance/capital investment orders, and amortization.
• Proficiency in SAP Project Systems (PS) and Investment Management (IM).
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Willing to work in Hybrid model.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working with SAP CPS (Project Systems and Investment Management) in operational settings or project-based environments.
• Familiarity with Public Sector Accounting Board standards.
• Understanding of SAP ecosystem integration points across various finance-related modules.
• Knowledge of process management using SAP Solution Manager.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, and Change Management (PROSCI).
• Experience in delivering training on SAP solutions, specifically in Project Systems and Investment Management.
