We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with experience in using Ceridian payroll software. In this role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees while ensuring strict adherence to relevant laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:* Process payroll for all employees on a weekly basis using Ceridian payroll software.
* Maintain accurate employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
* Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.
* Ensure correct application of deductions and benefits, including taxes, insurance, and retirement contributions.
* Administer employee benefits and ensure timely updates and accurate processing.
* Assist in preparing payroll reports and supporting compliance audits.
* Stay up to date with federal and provincial tax laws to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
* Graduation from a recognized business program.
* Proven experience in payroll processing, with a preference for candidates with Ceridian experience.
* Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is considered an asset.
* Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
* Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in payroll software (Ceridian) and MS Excel.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
* The successful candidate will be required to submit a satisfactory certificate of conduct.
