On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting for an expereinced Marketing Manager to join their team of dedicated professionals. This will be a hybrid role, ideally based out of one of their locations in Dartmouth, NS, Fredericton, NB, Charlottetown, PEI, Barrie, ON, or Calgary, AB.
The Opportunity
As Varcon expands both in their reach and in the scope of their services, they are seeking a self-driven leader who thrives on building and executing strategic marketing initiatives. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of Varcon's marketing function by creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy, developing their marketing channels and working collaboratively. You will need the ability to balance big-picture thinking with a hands-on approach to achieve ambitious targets. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both setting direction and rolling up their sleeves to deliver results.

Role and Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to achieve company goals and increase market share.
- Content Creation: Develop engaging marketing materials including but not limited to social media content, promotional materials and case studies.
- Market Analysis: Continuously evaluate market conditions, emerging trends, and competitive positioning to adjust marketing and sales strategies proactively.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email and traditional advertising.
- Lead Generation: Assist in optimizing lead generation activities, working with sales and other departments to ensure a steady influx of qualified leads.
- Performance Monitoring: Regularly track and report on marketing metrics and KPIs to evaluate team performance.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive marketing experience.
- Experience setting and implementing marketing strategies.
- Proven track record of design and implementing scalable marketing processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and function.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the Canadian Telecommunications space considered an asset.
- Experience marketing international markets considered an asset.
- Experience marketing professional services considered an asset.
