The Opportunity
As a valued member of our dedicated Customer Relations Team, you will play a key role in our Contact Centre, handling inbound calls, emails, and webchat interactions. You have a genuine passion for working with people and providing them with a quality customer service experience across multiple communication channels. Using your excellent communication skills, you will guide customers through their service journey at Newfoundland Power, including:
- Assisting customers in obtaining electricity services
- Resolving customer inquiries via phone, email, and webchat
- Managing challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Negotiating payment plans
- Providing energy efficiency advice
- Promoting customer programs
What You Bring
Your qualifications include:
- Completion of a Business Degree (or related discipline) or a Business Diploma (3-year)
- A minimum of 3 years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a contact centre environment
You are a highly motivated team player with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. You have an excellent work ethic, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing a high volume of customer interactions. Your ability to listen actively, show empathy, and navigate difficult conversations with a solutions-focused approach will help ensure a positive experience for our customers.
Compensation is per the current Collective Agreement.
Locations considered are Stephenville, Grand Falls-Windsor, Gander, Clarenville, Burin, Carbonear and St. John's (Duffy Place).
