Name and description of the hiring departmentThis position requires a versatile and proactive individual capable of supporting a team, analyzing problems, and proposing innovative solutions. The ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and payroll management skills.
Job Duties / Accountabilities- Provide technical support and coaching to employees, document interactions, and identify recurring issues to improve processes. Collaborate with the trainer to create and distribute supplementary documents
- Develop and manage the weekly agent assignment plan, prioritizing tasks and respecting established deadlines and guidelines
- Handle and resolve unusual and complex situations, proposing effective and sustainable solutions
- Analyze data, identify areas for process and content improvement to optimize the employee experience. Propose concrete solutions to improve the simplicity and user-friendliness of systems
- Ensure quality control of work and calls according to established standards
- Conduct analyses and produce various reports to monitor performance
- Participate in process improvement projects and ensure their updates
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of collective agreements and government payroll standards
- Assist teams in performing their tasks and taking calls
- Work closely with coaches and all other teams
- Monitor service levels via Avaya and take necessary measures to ensure service quality
- Payroll Processing Expertise; this includes in-depth knowledge of payroll calculations, tax withholdings, deductions, and the ability to accurately process payroll data according to schedules and legal requirements. This also includes proficiency in payroll software and systems. (Validation test of general payroll knowledge will be given)
- Ability to make informed decisions and assume a leadership role
- Excellent ability to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines, and manage stress in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical skills to understand needs, underlying causes of problems, and adapt solutions accordingly
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to guide and mentor employees
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent active listening, empathetic, diplomatic communication skills, and the ability to adapt to the audience
- Good knowledge of the SAP software
- Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the learning of others
- Knowledge of English and French required; perfect mastery (oral and written)
- In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada
- Good sense of organization and planning
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
- Ability to show initiative, judgment, and propose solutions and improvements
- Ability to work independently and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (Validation test for Excel will be given)
- Discretion and respect for confidentiality
- Regular business hours as needed, occasional overtime
- Must be available and flexible
