Then the Canadian Personal Banking Analytics, Insights and Artificial Intelligence (CPB AI2) team is your destination.

You will be part of a team that will be transforming how we provide key insights and opportunities for our business partners to better serve our customers through our adjudication underwriting process, compliance and regulatory measurements, and helping our customer establish a Power of Attorney; just to name a few.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take-action, and provide meaningful business direction.
  • Maintain relationships with various business partners including Product, Retail Risk Management, Business Management & Governance, and Technology.
  • Proactively identify key business opportunities, research, and recommend enhancements / modifications to better serve our customers.
  • Assist in development and maintenance of Credit Strategies for Canadian Retails Credit Cards and Personal Lending portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years in two or more of the following programing languages: Python, PySpark and SQL
  • Knowledge of Data Bricks, Cloud Computing, ADL (Azure Data Lake), ADF (Azure Data Factory) considered an asset
  • Previous Retail Credit Risk or Product experience considered an asset
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent oral and written skills, and demonstrated ability to digest complex information and summarize in a clear, concise fashion (for executive-level consumption)
  • Very strong comfortability in accessing large data sources, performing mining, extractions and manipulations to uncover relevant data findings and big-picture stories
  • Strong analytically-anchored problem-solving skills – a logical and strategic thinker with strong critical reasoning skills, proactively identifies risks and issues, recommends solutions, challenges the status quo
  • Agile, adaptable, "can-do" attitude, high degree of responsiveness and initiative
  • Enthusiastic and focused self-starter who can work with minimal supervision to strict deadlines and is able to prioritize, multitask, and manage various projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated passionate analytical thinker with track record of delivering business impact and results through developing and executing on innovative analytics solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a history of using data to understand not only what is happening, but why it is happening, and what can be done to resolve the issue
  • Capable of working in and across teams, leading partners and aligning leadership – including proven teamwork and ability to build deep relationships with diverse business partners
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and run multiple deadlines and priorities

Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

  • Advanced university degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or other analytically based discipline, preferably at a bachelor's degree or above or equivalent work experience
