NCC Marketing and Sales Manager
The Newfoundland Chocolate Company is a fun and proud Newfoundland company with a vision of bringing Newfoundland and Labrador to the world through our delicious chocolate. Our business lines include numerous retail locations in Newfoundland, Chocolate Cafes, on-line and external sales which includes Wholesale, Corporate Sales, Weddings, Fundraisers and Events.
As the NCC Marketing and Sales manager, you will manage our marketing campaigns ensuring our social media is created and scheduled. You will work with the CEO in developing a marketing strategy for the company and be involved in all facets of marketing execution. You will also be acting as a brand ambassador and representing the company at networking and corporate events and for business development to source new opportunities and maintain current relationships. Opportunities for travel as well.
You will work with our sales team and be involved with Wholesale, Corporate, Custom, Weddings, Fundraisers and Events. To ensure the success and the growth of these business lines and you will be part of a team responsible for developing and executing the strategies for each department in addition to preparing and analyzing sales reports to provide recommendations and manage budgets.
You'll be an energetic and positive addition to our growing team, you'll possess:
· 5+ years of marketing and sales experience with face to face presentations and direct client contact.
· Exceptional customer service skills
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong local network in the business community.
· A Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent qualifications.

· A passion for fine food, particularly fine Chocolate.

· A love of Newfoundland and a desire to share your pride of Newfoundland, both locally and with the world, through our delicious chocolate.
· Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Must be available outside of office and or retail store hours and be able to go above and beyond the call of duty.
· Must have and be willing to use your personal cell phone, in accordance with the company cell phone policy. Events cell phone also avail.
· Driver's license in good standing and have access to your own vehicle.
· The ability to travel within and outside of the province on an occasional basis.
Reporting
This position reports to the CEO
Responsibilities
· Present, promote and sell our products to existing and prospective customers.
· Develop and implement marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team and hit KPIs of the established marketing strategy
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
· Together with team develop new fundraising initiatives in partnership with local charities
Respond to fundraiser inquiries
· Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
· Help or lead company events (Retail, Corporate and Weddings.)
· Maintain business relationships and strengthen communication with weekly scheduled visits to wholesalers and or corporate businesses.
· Help analyze the territory / markets potential, track sales and status reports, present and plan for new territory wholesalers.
· Expedite the resolution of customers problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction and utmost customer service.
· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
· Coordinate sales efforts with team members and corresponding departments.
Salary Range and Compensation/ Benefits Package
