Job Summary:
The Medical Imaging Program of NL Health Services, Urban Zone is seeking an Interventional Radiologist starting as early as May 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will join a group of 11 Radiologists working at St Clare's Mercy Hospital. It is the tertiary site for the province for vascular surgery.
The Radiology Group offers a busy service in CT, MRI, US, Angio- interventional, Fluoroscopy, and general radiology. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a general radiologist. The candidate must have Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology. The IR practice is predominantly vascular intervention and experience in this area is preferred. There is a call expectation as well, currently call is approximately 1 week in 4 (will change as staffing levels fluctuate).
Required Qualifications
- To be considered candidates must hold a MD.
- Certification by the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (or equivalent) in Radiology.
- Interventional Radiology fellowship required.
- Must be eligible for licensure to practice by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL (CPSNL).
- Satisfy credentialing requirements of Eastern Health, including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.
Hours of Work : 75 hours bi-weekly, plus on-call obligation
Remuneration : Remuneration is competitive and in accordance with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association Memorandum of Agreement and MCP Fee Schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing their own administrative support.
