Associate Director, Structured Notes Sales Representative – Montreal, QC
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team as an Associate Director. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling structured notes and investment solutions to financial advisors and other financial professionals. Your goal is to generate sales, increase market share, and effectively utilize a range of investment solutions within your assigned territory.
What You'll Do:
- Sales and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors, brokers, and other financial professionals. Conduct in-person meetings, virtual meetings, calls, presentations, and training sessions to promote structured notes.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitor products, and client needs to identify sales opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of structured notes and industry adopted investment solutions, including their features, benefits, and performance. Provide detailed product information and support to clients.
- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company. Monitor and report on sales performance and market conditions.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues related to our offerings.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and company policies.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services/sales.
- Licences/Certifications: Relevant Financial licences and courses (CIRO, CSC, etc.)
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investment products.
- Ability to work closely with team members to achieve common goals and deliver high-quality results. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture.
- open and effective communication with colleagues, sharing information and updates regularly. Listen actively and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve issues, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise.
- Ability to provide support and guidance to team members, helping them develop their skills and achieve their professional goals.
Work Arrangement:
This is an onsite role, with the expectation that you will work five days a week in the office. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
