The Office of Experiential Education also operates within the Learning Futures Umbrella.

Salary Range: $23.48 - $27.26 per hour
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to Online Delivery & Learner Support Coordinator, the Program Officer acts as a lead contact with Client Services to maximize a seamless process for students, as well as the Registrar's Office, Financial Services and other units on campus. This position will also assist in identifying solutions to streamline systems and processes for efficient support and delivery of online courses.
- Act as the primary point of contact for academic units, instructors, students, and external partners.
- Provide general administrative support to the Coordinator, Online Delivery & Learner Support.
- Coordinate logistical requirements for course additions, changes, and technology-mediated courses.
- Provide ongoing support for instructors and students, troubleshooting issues and ensuring access to course materials.
- Monitor and follow up on any other course-related changes that might impact distance course delivery, ensuring instructors and students are properly updated.
- Respond to general inquiries associated with courses and programs offered through the Unit, particularly those related to programs under this position.
- Guide potential students through application, registration, and acceptance procedures for credit courses.
- Assist in the exam process ensuring students have obtained the permission, confirming invigilators and scheduling exams.
- Respond to student requests for course extensions, withdrawals, and exam scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Registrar's Office, Financial Services, Accessibility Centre, and other campus units to meet student needs.
- Support instructors with online course processes and policies, including troubleshoot requests.
- Update course information pages, course withdrawal policy and guides for students on webpage.
- Administer and maintain the client management system for assigned programs.
- Manage data to produce statistical and financial reports using Colleague, Entrinsik, Informer 5 and MS Forms.
- Work with ID team, CRM team and Web team.
- Contribute to program evaluation, policy development, and improvements in delivery processes.
- Attend promotional events, career fairs, and community information sessions.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2-year diploma in Office or Business Administration.
- Five years of related experience in an academic setting.
- High level of proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel is required.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
Additional Strengths
- University degree is preferred.
- Experience in project management considered an asset.
- Demonstrated success in exemplary client service, or student support role.
- Experience with a client management system and Mac OS system/programs preferred.
- Exercises judgment, exhibits initiative, and demonstrates planning abilities to identify and solve problems.
- Comfortable working in both collaborative and autonomous situations.
- Experience with data management and financial management.
- ·Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse and entrepreneurial environment.
- ·Familiarity with online learning.
