The Talent Pre-Screener plays a vital role in the recruitment process by conducting initial evaluations of job applicants to determine their eligibility for open positions. This position involves reviewing resumes, conducting phone interviews, and assessing candidates' qualifications based on job requirements. The Pre-Screener ensures only the most qualified candidates move forward in the hiring process, allowing hiring managers and recruiters to focus on the best-fit talent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Resume Screening: Review and assess resumes, applications, and LinkedIn profiles to identify qualifications, experience, and skills that match job requirements.
2. Initial Candidate Interviews: Conduct phone or video interviews with applicants to gather basic information, assess communication skills, and evaluate the alignment of their qualifications with the position.
3. Pre-Screening Assessments: Use structured questionnaires or pre-screening tools to evaluate candidates' suitability for roles based on required qualifications and competencies.
4. Eligibility Verification: Confirm candidates' eligibility based on specific criteria such as work experience, educational background, and certifications.
5. Data Management: Maintain an organized system of candidate information, ensuring accurate tracking of progress and candidate status throughout the pre-screening process.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the pre-screening process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
