We are searching for a Pastry Chef to join our Parkland Ancaster team based in Ancaster, Ontario.

About the Opportunity
•Executes departmental policies, procedures and guidelines as a member of the divisional Food Services Team
•Executes desert services for Lunch and Dinner in accordance to Brand Standards
•Ensures Sweet Spot Café is stalked with a range of desserts and pastries daily•Executes dessert service needs Supportive Living Lifestyle options in accordance to Brand Standards
•Prepares desert service needs for special functions such as catering and theme dinners to ensure service meets established standards
•Consistently ensures food quality, presentation, and service delivery meet established department standards; ensures meals are attractive, the correct temperature and portion size, and that service is timely
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
• Red seal Baking certification
• Food Safety certification
• Minimum of 3-5 years of operational baking experience
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
