Position: Summer Student - Sales Support Representative

Location: St. John's, NL

Work Term: Typically 16 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Merchandising: Visit retailer locations throughout NL replacing outdated Point of Sales system (POS); setting up in-store promotions and advising retailers of outdated stock.
  • Administrative: Log each sales call into Customer Relationship Management system (CRM), update contact info.
  • Travel: To be able to follow the call cycle; travel is required with a possibility of over-night stays.

Perfect for those who like variety in their day. Some days you will be working from regional office and others days will be time in field with Territory Managers.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline.
  • 2+ years' experience in retail, marketing, or hospitality (lottery experience is an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Quick learner, problem solver, and self-starter with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Well-established customer service skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be 19 years of age or older by the start date.
  • Location: Able to travel daily to the St. John's NL Regional Office.
  • Physical Demands: You must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs, which is important to consider if you have any physical limitations.

Asset:

  • Access to an insured personal vehicle: If needed, you will be reimbursed at a rate of $0.62 cents/KM.
