JOB PURPOSE

To holistically coordinate the care of each patient, incorporating the nursing profession's values of knowledge, theory, and practice. To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the needs of patients and significant others in the delivery of care and collaborate with all members of the interdisciplinary team in this approach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active registration with NANB
• Oncology/Internal Medicine experience considered an asset
• Obtains unit specific skills as required in the established time frames
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, as assigned, including weekends and holidays throughout the year
• Ability to perform the duties of the position
• Good work record

• Willing to accept change and demonstrate the ability to adapt in a changing environment
• Work in other patient care areas as requested by nursing supervisor/manager.
