Salary Range: $2,454.00 to $3,776.00 bi-weekly based on the experience and level of post-secondary education.
As part of the School of Professional and Part-time Learning, collaborating with and reporting to the Business Development Manager, you are responsible for:
- Planning and preparing instructional materials and resources;
- Establishing and managing a positive learning environment;
- Instructing and evaluating students;
- Building and sustaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, community partners, and stakeholders, as well as other related duties.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor of Education Degree with related work experience (OR) Bachelor's degree AND Certificate in Adult Education (OR) Certificate in Andragogy AND/OR a Masters in Education from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Preference may be given to candidates with at least three (3) years of related, recent work experience.
Preference may be given to candidates who have experience working in a post-secondary environment.
Professional Skills:
- Highly flexible with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to navigate and build relationships effectively throughout the organization.
- Experience with adult education and correctional facilities is highly valued.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, analytical ability, and innovative thinking.
- Self-motivated, service and results oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and within a team.
- A desire for continuous learning and growth.
