Faculty of Business Administration
(Contractual Position to March 31, 2028)
DUTIES
Reporting to the Manager of Academic Programs, and with minimum supervision, the Admissions Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support for the undergraduate programs (including international activities) in the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). Duties include supporting current and potential students; providing academic advice and assisting with program planning; working as the recording secretary for CUGS; providing guidance for appeals, waivers, and processes as needed; maintaining student files; overseeing the admissions processes for all undergraduate programs within the FBA; determining applicants' eligibility for FBA programs through the evaluation of applications, resumes, student transcripts, and other required documents; providing administrative assistance to the Manager of Academic Programs and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs and Accreditation; working closely with staff members in the Registrar's Office and other academic departments; and performing other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (3-5 years) in an administrative capacity within an academic environment; graduation from a four-year university degree program is required; or an equivalent combination of experience and training will be considered. Proficient communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of the Banner student administration system as well as international credential assessment would be considered an asset.
SALARY $59,901 - $70,273 per annum (Non-Bargaining)
