Who we are

We invite you to join the Parks NB team! You will have the opportunity to work at one of the most beautiful beaches in North America with the warmest salt water in Canada. Parlee Beach also holds international Blue Flag certification. The campground is located on well-developed grounds with over 210 sites.

What you will do

Reporting to the Sales and Service Attendant Supervisor at Parlee Beach Provincial Park, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Providing fast, efficient, and professional customer service by addressing visitors' needs
  • Using the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Handling payments, balancing, and reconciling funds, and preparing daily bank deposits
  • Setting prices for items, managing inventory, and conducting regular stock checks
  • Assisting in training and onboarding of new staff
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment by ensuring displays are set up and shelves are stocked
  • Performing other related tasks as needed for the shop

Work Environment:

  • Working variable hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Lifting light to moderate weight supplies

Who you are

You are someone who prides themselves in exceeding client expectations, being flexible and supporting members of your team. You are experienced in providing customer service. You must be a team player who works with attention to detail and possess strong interpersonal, communication skills and are self-motivated.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Need to have

  • Completion of grade 10
  • Experience in customer service or sales
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
  • Written and spoken competence in English and French is required

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite

Salary: $20.67 per hour
