SCHEDULE: Day, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English

JOB SUMMARY:

Deliver a range of clinical nutrition services designed to meet the needs of inpatients and/or outpatients. Assess nutritional needs and plan, coordinate and implement nutrition care plans for clients. Work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Actively collaborate in the training of nutrition students and students from other disciplines. Take part in the quality management program and in program and departmental meetings and serve on various committees. Performs any other related duty as per the needs of the department.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or equivalent from a university recognized by the Dietitians of Canada;
• Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Dietitians (NBAD);
• Successful completion of dietetics internship;
• Skills using computer tools;
• Proven ability to organize and manage own work;
• Proven teaching, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proven ability to function in a changing work environment;
• Proven ability to accurately solve mathematical problems;
• Strong interest in furthering own knowledge;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Physical ability to perform assigned work;
• Good work history (performance and attendance);
• Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy and organizational values;
• Adherence to Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.
