JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Assistant CEO, the incumbent is responsible for learning client programs, including Addiction and Mental Health Services. These programs are supported by a management team for the services delivered.
As a strategic leader, this person supports the Assistant CEO in meeting external professional and regulatory standards, as well as internal standards of care. This person builds strong professional relationships with all clinical programs, community partners, the Leadership Team, the Board of Directors, and the internal and external community. The successful candidate develops a regional strategy for all the programs in their portfolio in accordance with the organization's mission and vision.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Clinical training in a field related to the learning client programs;
- Experience in addiction and mental health services preferred, or demonstrated ability to learn quickly and manage at a senior level in a complex field;
- Excellent knowledge of the health care setting in the province and elsewhere in Canada;
- Considerable and progressive experience in clinical services management;
- 7 to 10 years' experience in a leadership position;
- Any combination of training and experience deemed equivalent may be considered;
- Demonstrates strong ethics and provides a sense of security to colleagues and team;

- Physical ability to perform assigned work and travel throughout the Network territory on a regular basis;
- Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organization values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitality Health Network.
