The Bell Media team creates and delivers the most compelling content to Canadians across its digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. We are looking for an innovative executive to lead the Media distribution, subscription revenue and strategies for Bell Media's entertainment services. The successful candidate will oversee teams focused on content distribution, subscriber acquisition and retention, and brand positioning across traditional and digital platforms including Crave, TSN and RDS as well as all existing and emerging platforms. He / she will be responsible for driving audience engagement, revenue growth, partnerships, and market leadership by leveraging expertise in 4P strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team responsible for Bell Media's subscriber revenue portfolio across all brands in English and French, including subscriber acquisition and retention for streaming service Crave as well as cable, satellite and IPTV distribution
- Work with internal stakeholders including Content, Finance and Sales to support the development of Bell Media's long-term subscriber and content distribution strategy
- Negotiate distribution agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and manage distribution partnerships and promotions for direct-to-consumer products including Crave
- Lead the creation of promotional campaigns to maximize reach and ROI across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with the Promotion pillar
- Build and manage relationships with distribution partners, including broadcasters, digital platforms, and syndication networks
- Identify opportunities to expand the reach of Bell Media's content across new markets and platforms
- Lead initiatives to enhance content packaging and monetization strategies, ensuring competitiveness in a rapidly evolving media landscape
- Evaluate customer feedback and market trends to drive innovation in product offerings
- Establish pricing strategies for content distribution and subscription models that balance revenue generation and market competitiveness
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and secure sponsorships and advertising partnerships
- Foster collaboration across departments, including Programming, Sales, and Operations, to achieve shared objectives
- Represent Bell Media at industry events, fostering relationships with stakeholders and positioning the company as a leader in media innovation
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce or Marketing
- 10+ years' experience in a leadership role within Media or Telecom Industry
- Strong understanding of the Canadian media landscape, including digital platforms, broadcasting, and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading both large and multi-department teams with the ability to influence high performing teams and advocate at the Senior Leadership table
- Reflect a high degree of professionalism, uncompromising integrity and business ethics
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive a unified strategy / vision
- Results-oriented with a focus on measurable impact and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
- Creative, solution-oriented mindset, with strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing and customer relationship / loyalty strategies
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decision-making
- Bilingualism is an asset
