Are you an enthusiastic and experienced recruiter with a passion for creating an unforgettable candidate experience? If so, we'd love for you to join us as a Talent Acquisition Project Specialist. Reporting to our Talent Leader, Healthcare Recruitment Strategy, you'll be a key player in crafting innovative recruiting strategies and ensuring each candidate feels valued and welcomed.

What You'll Do:

In this dynamic role, you'll work in a range of impactful projects for our Talent Acquisition team, from international and domestic recruitment to supporting new hires with immigration and settlement. With a focus on collaboration and organization, you'll coordinate activities across teams and with external partners to keep everything running smoothly.

As our Talent Acquisition Project Specialist, you'll be a Medavie ambassador, championing our brand and culture while building strong relationships within the industry and beyond. Your efforts will make Medavie an Employer of Choice!

Key Responsibilities:

Networking & Sourcing:

  • Attend recruiting events and connect with professional networks to promote Medavie career opportunities.
  • Keep an eye on industry trends and apply fresh, creative strategies to keep Medavie competitive.
  • Actively build our talent pipeline, reaching both active and passive candidates through recruitment marketing, social media, and innovative sourcing strategies.

Project Management:

  • Design project tools, frameworks, and processes to improve team efficiency and deliver exceptional results.
  • Ensure clear roles and responsibilities, keep tasks on track, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to adapt to shifting priorities and meet our goals.

Client Relationships & Forecasting:

  • Engage in regular meetings with internal partners to understand staffing needs and proactively plan recruitment strategies.
  • Collaborate with business units, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to ensure our recruitment efforts align with Medavie's goals and timelines.
  • Anticipate staffing needs to help drive organizational success and minimize service risks.

Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline, conduct interviews, and facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new hires.
  • Utilize recruitment technology to track progress, ensuring proactive and high-quality hiring efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to keep everyone aligned and achieve our shared objectives.

About You:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in business, human resources, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • Bilingualism: English and French skills are a plus.
  • Experience: 3-4 years in recruitment project management, with expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and networking.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Customer Service Mindset: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in healthcare or immigration processes is an asset.
  • Availability to Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% for both domestic and international recruitment activities.
