What you will do
Reporting to the Storekeeper II, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
- working in the receipt, purchasing, storage, issuance and control of general inventory supplies;
- respond to inquiries and provide counter service to clients;
- unload shipments from trucks when required;
- record, file and maintain documentation of supplies received or delivered in a computerized system;
- participate in physical inventory counts and sort, rotate and shelve supplies.
Work environment:
- Office location: Tide Head Stockroom
- Standard hours of work: Monday â?? Friday with variable hours, including, evenings and weekends, when required.

- Some travel within the province will be required.

Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of grade ten (10).
- A minimum of three (3) yearsâ?? experience in storekeeping work including computer skills.
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Class 5 driverâ??s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate the following assets:
- experience involving client service.
- experience in stockroom management in automotive parts and heavy equipment.
- experience working without supervision.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

SALARY:
Storekeeper I: $23.72 per hour, based on a 40- hour week.
