What You'll Be Doing
As a Service Video Advisor, you'll be the face of Steele Ford's service department, ensuring every customer feels confident and informed throughout their vehicle service experience:
- Listen to customers' descriptions of vehicle symptoms and assess repair needs.
- Verify warranty and service contract coverage by reviewing records and clarifying details.
- Provide cost estimates by calculating materials, supplies, and labor.
- Prepare repair orders (ROs) with detailed descriptions of issues and required services.
- Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates, addressing concerns, and obtaining approvals.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle issues and solutions.
- Continuously improve your knowledge by participating in training and staying up to date with industry trends.
What We're Looking For
We want team members who are passionate, customer-focused, and ready to make an impact:
- At least three years of customer service experience.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-driven environment.
- Excellent organization and learning skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable abstract.
