Job Description:
Success in this role means timely completion and delivery of completed TD AV and Videoconference solutions, going above and beyond for the business, creating solutions that adhere to TD standards, communicating progress and issues effectively with the rest of the team. This is a multi-faceted role that will leverage technical experience, a passion for learning new technologies and strong communication skills to support internal teams and clients.
• Reporting to the Senior Manager of Audio-Visual Technology, when asked, you can provide a detailed overview of work
• You are accountable to manage the build and release of TelePresence and Audio/Video solutions as documented in the TD AV Standards
• You follow process but you also consider the bigger picture and client perceptions. You'll jump in and do things yourself when needed!
• You oversee work in TD sites across Canada and the US. Knowledge of the technology and customer service are your hallmarks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Proven experience performing on-site installations of AV systems including setup, wiring, configuration, testing & commissioning
Responsible for on-site installation of AV systems based on TD/AV standards with a focus on Cisco endpoints and Microsoft Teams Room deployments
Ability to demonstrate on-site field leadership while working with AV consultants, AV integrators and TD Project Teams
Proficient in reading, interpreting and marking up AV drawing packages (i.e., functionals, riser diagrams, plan and RCP's)
Maintaining detailed project reports and status updates on a weekly basis
Test and load audio DSP and Control Programming Code
Lead Day 2 support efforts for assessing and troubleshooting on-site issues working with TD L2 & L3 support teams
Provide high-level instructional training (in person or remote) and provide documentation to end-users for Custom AV / Telepresence solutions
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs while prioritizing safety on the worksite.

Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Attend weekly team review of all projects, raise any issues to project management team. Escalate matters when required to Senior Manager
Keep accurate files and records of project status and activities
Respond to communications from line of business stakeholders, regarding problems or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem-solving skills
Job Requirement
This position reports to the Senior IT Manager and will be located in Toronto
Daily travel to on-site locations within GTA and occasional out-of-town travel
Must be able to adapt to extended hours, evening, weekend work, overtime when required due to various project deployment schedules.
Minimum of 2 - 5 years of proven AV installation and Day 2 support experience required
Technical aptitude and knowledge of integrated AV systems and IT equipment
Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate
AVIXA CTS I preferred
Any Industry recognized training preferred: Cisco, Microsoft, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Shure
Knowledge of products from leading AV manufacturers
