What you will do

The Parks NB team is looking for students to fill a variety of positions. You will have the opportunity to spend time outdoors, be creative, welcome over 1 million guests and be part of their park experience.

Some positions require customer service, retail experience and/or experience performing manual tasks. For lifeguard positions, you must meet the prerequisite for the National Lifeguard Service (NLS) - waterfront course (minimum 16 years of age, Bronze Cross and Standard First Aid (must be current) from a recognized organization)*

*Note:You will be required to attend and successfully complete the NLS – waterfront course.

Work Environment

  • Variable hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Who you are

Are you someone who likes making a difference in someone's day? Do you like to work in a diverse team setting? You must be a team player and be able to work under minimum or no supervision.

Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:

Need to have

  • You are a student in the current academic year
  • You are a resident of New Brunswick or a First Nation community in New Brunswick
  • You are eligible to work in Canada
  • You must be attending a post-secondary institution full-time in the fall*

*Note: grade 12 students are eligible if attending a full-time post-secondary institution in the fall.

Some positions require spoken competence in English and French. Other positions require spoken competence in either English or in French only. Please state your language capability.

Based on student rates of pay
