Contributes to the overall success of the Private Wealth team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. During your internship you will join a dynamic team, working alongside highly trained professional and portfolio managers. We are looking for someone with related area of study (finance, portfolio management, and accounting) in their 3rd year or last year of university program.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader firm's relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Support client-service professionals with the completion and development of periodic and ad hoc reports, and presentation materials.
  • Prepare and coordinate account opening and client profile update documentation.
  • General tasks requested by the manager (the development of branch-based performance measures, and support the build of governance-based account review, help in the preparation of documents pertaining to account transitions, upload specified documents into CRM).
  • Understand how JFL's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with the firm's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
  • Help coordinate FATCA/CRS and AML remediation as required Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
  • Gain exposure to the new advancement programs within JFL Private Wealth

  • Bachelor in Business or Economics or another related field
  • Students with top grades and standing GPA > 3.0 / 4.0
  • Passion for investment and related fields
  • Analytical and accounting skills.
  • Demonstrated PC literacy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Organized with attention to details
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and prioritize when necessary.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to change.
  • Attention to details
  • Reliable, and demonstrates good judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
