Moosehead Breweries Limited is Canada's last-major brewer still owned by Canadians. Headquartered in Saint John, New Brunswick, the company has been operated by the Oland family since it was established in 1867.
We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator at our Brewery located in Saint John, NB. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Logistics - Atlantic, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for dispatching and coordinating daily shipments.
- Participate as a member on our HACCP team
- Dispatching of all outbound shipments and support inbound dispatching.
- Daily Order Management and coordinating shipments for all the Maritimes, Western Canada, USA & International.
- Ensure that orders are shipped and confirmed
- Resolving customer service concerns
- Maintaining customer and carrier relationships
- Maintaining communication with Sales Team
- Coordinating International and Contract orders
- Vacation coverage for the receiving coordinator
- Tracking short & over shipments/carrier damages/late shipments
- Provide reporting on a timely basis.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 1-year post-secondary education
- Experience in shipping and logistics is an asset
- Ability to exercise sound judgment within defined policies and guidelines
- Excellent problem-solving and communications skills
- Accuracy and detail, with strong time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiply deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly, Outlook and Excel
