Quality Assurance Technician
NOC Code: 94143
This position will include Shift Work
This position reports to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring quality product being processed in compliance to specifications
• Ability to take action to make required changes when necessary
• Monitoring of scales, metal detector and coder every hour
• Ensuring proper coding for all products produced on shift
• Perform pre-operational inspections of processing lines
• Certifying quality standards for all product
• Providing feedback to drive ongoing improvements
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Grade Twelve Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate is a requirement
• Post-secondary education within a science specialty would be considered an asset
• Experience working within Quality or as a Grader would be considered an asset

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Great time management
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work with products including but not limited to onions and wheat products
