Job Description:

Infrastructure & Engineering (I&E) Enterprise Currency (EC), within Enterprise Technology Asset Management is accountable to manage delivery tracking and reporting for products going End of Support/End of Life (EOS/EOL), this includes building strong partnerships with our TS partners, Enterprise Protect (governance role), I&E Technology owners and TAOs. The role aims to ensure a smooth execution of various parts of the currency process, managing the relationship between the numerous participants and ultimately, reducing the number of unsupported products being used on applications at the bank.

Job Description

We are seeking a motived individual to fill a role of a Data Analyst with strong Project Management experience. The candidate will report to the Senior Manager of Currency Missy Horwood and will have strong working relationships with Business partners, Enterprise Protect, Technology Owners and TAOs. The position requires a self-starter with excellent data skills, strong leadership qualities, negotiation skills and proven experience delivering results.

Job Requirements

The role is required to:

  • Apply automation and innovation on new data platforms and on-going on any new development projects / initiatives aligned to business or organizational strategies
  • technology and the business to achieve business and IT objectives
  • Work closely with various technology/project teams to understand the business meaning of data, and provide analysis and requirements to ensure the data design is fully understood and the development initiatives are in line with the intended design and standards
  • Implement processes aligned to data management standards and ensure data quality and data requirements are embedded in and adhered to within the system development deliverables
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within various platforms
  • Perform data profiling using TD tooling and ad hoc system query languages to validate data analysis
  • Support the user community by helping users interpret the data
  • Implement , maintain and enhance Data Governance, Data Quality and related policies, in alignment with TD's Enterprise standards and frameworks in collaboration with the Data Managers/Stewards/Owners
  • Ensure requirements are captured regarding privacy and security of data, data governance and access controls
  • Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines
  • Work effectively as a team, supporting other members of the team in resolving critical issues
  • Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
  • Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units
  • Continuously enhance knowledge / expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Specific Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

  • College / University or equivalent work experience.


Other Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years work experience with Data and Reporting
  • Proficiency in Jira, Tableau, PowerBI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Service Now
  • A solid understanding of the Bank's security standards
  • Experience managing Infrastructure technology projects would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Corporate business areas and applications would be an asset
  • Knowledge of ITS internal Business practices and related tools/processes
