What you need to succeed:

• Minimum of 5+ years experience building enterprise grade or web-scale software using Java and Open Source technologies
• You have earned a post-secondary diploma or degree and/or relevant working experience in business, technology or relevant field.
• Strong conceptualization ability, excellent ability to translate abstract ideas into working, high quality code
• Highly collaborative and capable of working in a fast paced and dynamic team environment
• Experience of Micro-service architecture and design patterns
• Experience of REST API
• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, XML, JSON, Junit and numerous JavaScript libraries
• Experience with Relational Databases, such as Oracle
• Familiarity with commonly used IDE tools like Eclipse/ Intellij, Database tools like PL-SQL Developer
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of Github or other version control tools.
• Participating in requirement analysis, design and code reviews with a focus on ensuring your solutions are high quality, secure, reliable and performant
• Strong collaboration skills demonstrated through the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, quality control analysts and security experts, as examples
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Lead, mentor, and guide less experienced developers in best practices

Security Clearance Requirement: In conjunction with our contract with the Federal Government, you will be required to have Reliability Status Clearance (Enhanced Level B) prior to your start date . This includes Fingerprinting, Criminal Record Check, Credit Check and you must have resided in Canada for at least 5 years and hold Permanent Resident or Citizenship Status.
