The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Strategy and Priority Management Branch as a Stakeholder and Employee Engagement Advisor in Fredericton.
As a member of the Stakeholder and Employee Engagement team, you will play a proactive role in the planning, development and implementation of various stakeholder and employee engagement and communications strategies and tools that contribute to a culture of engagement, transparency and high performance.
As a Stakeholder and Employee Engagement Advisor you will be responsible for:
- Supporting initiatives aimed at increasing employee engagement and satisfaction;
- Supporting initiatives to achieve greater engagement with stakeholders;
- Organizing and participating in events with stakeholders and staff, both virtually and in-person;
- Writing various communication materials;
- Writing and editing content for the Department of Health's intranet site.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application

In the event that this competition poses difficulties in recruiting a qualified candidate, a covering off appointment at a lower level may be made. In that case, candidates with less than the required related years of experience may also be considered.
Asset Qualifications: Preference may be given to candidates who possess the following asset qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with SharePoint Online
- Experience in the development of intranet content
- Experience with preparing communications materials
- Knowledge of graphic design
- Experience in event planning
Candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications, in addition to the essential qualifications, in order to be given further consideration.

Salary: $51,662 to $72,176 per annum (Pay Band 3)
