Demands, duties, qualifications Applications are invited for the permanent position of Regional Manager of Nutrition Services at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Western Zone is seeking an energetic, creative individual to manage the day-to-day food services operations at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook Long Term Care and Western Long Term. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Nutrition Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for production and purchasing, human resources issues, quality control and utilization issues, management of personnel, as well as maintenance of the food services software system. This challenging opportunity requires excellent communication, organization, and planning skills.

Qualifications: Graduation from an approved university with major course work in Dietetics and successful completion of a registered Dietetic Internship program is required. Registration with the College of Dietitians of Newfoundland and Labrador and membership in Dietitians of Canada are also required. Management experience in a unionized food service operation is preferred. The successful applicant will demonstrate effective communication, organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills as well as a proven ability to work independently and as a team player.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required for this position.
**Travel within the Western Region may be necessary.
