Job Summary
This position reports the Director of the Children and Women's Health Program, Eastern Urban Zone and is accountable for administering, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating a broad range of clinical services. Specifically, the manager will be accountable for the Women's Health Clinic and Urodynamics lab, the Fertility Clinic, the In-Patient Gynecology, Urogynecology and Gyne-Oncology beds on 5NB and the CWHP Social Work Department This position will assist in meeting the program mandate and will be instrumental in planning effective service delivery.
The manager's responsibilities include the management of staff and resources, and leadership to ensure that services are provided in an effective and efficient way within an interdisciplinary team that works in a highly integrated environment.
The incumbent will provide direction to and coaching for frontline staff to ensure program and fiscal accountabilities are met, partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative practice and ensure delivery of comprehensive services for program clients. This position will assume a management role in human resource planning, quality improvement and budget monitoring to ensure objectives of strategic and operational plans are met. This position is also responsible for participating in the budget process, completing monthly variance analysis and collecting/analyzing relevant program statistics, and implementation of initiatives to ensure staff safety.
Job Qualifications
Education
Baccalaureate Degree in a health-related discipline is required.
Master's Degree is preferred.
Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of acute care experience within the last seven (7) is required.
Previous management experience is required.
Acute care experience in Pediatrics, Women's Health would be an asset.

Due to the requirement to work across multiple sites, a valid Newfoundland and Labrador Class 5 Driver's License and the use of a private vehicle are conditions of employment.
