Job Summary
Recruitment Services is a strong contributor to NL Health Services strategic and operational plans with a priority on a sustainable workforce. The HR Consultant works within a team environment and provides a full continuum of talent acquisition services to stakeholders in the public and throughout the organization. In this role you will research, develop, recommend and implement initiatives and pathways to advance NL Health Services recruitment in international markets. This involves collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to identify key demand areas, sourcing talent supplies, navigating immigration procedures, and creating sustainable talent/labor supplies as part of NL Health Services and the Provincial Recruitment and Retention initiatives. You will assist in developing promotional and informational tools and resources to ensure welcoming environments and a successful transition for international hires. You will participate in screening, interviewing and selecting top candidates, on-boarding, development of service contracts, incentives and strategies for difficult to recruit positions. You will be an ambassador at career fairs and participate/contribute to lean, quality and improvement processes/policies.
Job Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Commerce with a specialization in Human Resource Management is required.
CPHR certification is an asset.
Experience
Minimum of two years of recruitment experience in a unionized environment is required.
Experience in the interpretation and administration of collective agreements is required.
