Jazz is hiring Aircraft Tow Operators!

If you answered yes to the above questions, an entry level position as an Aircraft Tow Operator may be the perfect opportunity for you!
What will you do?
When our aircraft aren't flying, they are busy moving from gate to gate or to our Maintenance hangar for work packages. This is where you come in! Our Jazz Tow Operators are well trained, safety minded men and women who are responsible for positioning aircraft from one point of the airport to another via live taxiways/runways, while maintaining constant radio communications with ATC Ground Control and our Operations Coordinators. In addition, the tow teams operate various airport equipment such as Jet Bridges and Gate Power units to service aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tow aircraft / Brake Riding aircraft;
- Maintain excellent two-way radio communication;
- Provide mobile support for aircraft set up and tow teams;
- Operate various ground equipment;
- Operate Jet Bridges and gate support equipment;
- Perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers, the safety of customers and the safety of company assets;
- Ensure safely standards are maintained via Safety Management System (SMS);
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma;
- Valid driver's license;
- Demonstrated ability to operate ground vehicle equipment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills;
- Ability to work with little or no supervision;
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a RAIC (restricted area identification card);
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a ROC (radio license);
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment/multi axle trailers an asset.
