Job Description:

TD Securities, Global Transaction Banking ("GTB") provides a variety of treasury management and working capital management services to the worlds largest corporations. With team members around this world, GTB is a very international business.

This is a multi-disciplinary position that supports senior executives in fulfilling a wide variety of activities, all of which are in support of winning new clients (origination) as well as serving existing clients (client management). In addition to day-to-day responsibilities the supporting origination team members (and MD Origination directly) on a range of operational and day to day service issues, the role involves executing on critical projects and strategic initiatives that require broader partnership across TDS and/or other TD enterprise functions. The candidate should be comfortable interacting with and briefing senior executives, and is expected to possess a professional presence commensurate with that role.

This is an entry level position that provides exposure to the full breadth of an interesting and rapidly growing business, with the potential for substantial career growth.

Job Description

• Participate fully as a member of a high functioning team, across the disciplines of internal administration & coordination, client management and new business origination
• Work within unstructured environments with broadly diverse tasks, involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions
• Facilitate and support the Treasury Solutions team with administrative tasks including equipment, premises, access issues and coordination of team and client events
• Plan and organize travel arrangements for senior team members
• Support partners with both inbound and outbound requests, including directing enquiries to the appropriate individuals
• Contribute to the production of client presentations and marketing material as required, including advanced Power Point manipulations
• Coordinate with internal and external partners on key initiatives for small-scale projects/ initiatives in accordance with project management methodologies
• Organize internal and external events, including budgeting, venue selection and execution
• Contribute to business objectives for operational excellence -- identify, suggest and actively participate in improving standards, policies, procedures, and solutions
• Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality

Experience, Education and Essential Characteristics for Successful Candidates

• Undergraduate degree preferred, but not required
• 3+ years relevant experience
• Expert with Microsoft Office Suite
• Mature, high EQ
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Comfortable with quantitative analysis, including budgeting
• Capacity for independence and solid decision making
