The Senior Marketing Specialist for our Kitchen & Bath portfolio is a champion for our customers, and increasingly our Pro. They will help lead and implement integrated customer-first marketing strategies for the business across paid, owned and earned channels to help empower our Pro, DIY and DIFM customers to take on and complete their home improvement projects. They are responsible for coordinating campaign details across various internal marketing, merchandising and other cross-functional partners to ensure a seamless end-to-end campaign execution across all channels, providing regular recommendations and updates to their 360 businesses to ensure visibility and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Execution

  • Executing against category marketing strategies as established by the marketing manager
  • Provide planning support for the marketing manager as it pertains to key marketing campaigns
  • Lead detailed implementation and communication of business specific marketing plans to cross functional teams (merchandising, advertising, operations, etc)
  • Act as the main point of contact for all category-specific advertising production consisting of briefing campaign details, creative proofing and approvals among various other day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Responsible for end-to-end execution of integrated marketing programs, ensuring timely feedback by adhering to our processes to ensure campaigns launch on time
  • Be agile and action oriented when new opportunities and campaign pivots arise to react to market and customer needs
  • Update and maintain departmental marketing calendar and supporting materials
  • Champion The Home Depot brand values across all marketing content and communications
  • Support additional projects for the marketing team as required

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • Reports to the Marketing Manager, Merch Marketing (Décor)

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel to Store Support Centre for Hybrid days
  • Attend store walks as needed (Home Depot, Competitors and non-Competitors)

Working Conditions:

  • Working in an office and home setting: computer work, camera on virtual meetings, taking support calls
  • Working in stores and/or the Innovation Center
  • Must wear mandatory attire when required (i.e. Steel toe boots, Aprons)

Minimum Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferably in business or marketing

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years of previous marketing experience in a relevant role

Other Requirements/Assets:

  • Advanced capability in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau) will be considered an asset
  • Bilingual (English/French) will be considered an asset
