As our Agile Delivery Manager, you are responsible for leading and delivering end-to-end digital programs and initiatives. This role leverages agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation, manage agile planning, facilitate agile development teams, and ensure continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Strategy/Transformational Execution: Manage and deliver end-to-end digital programs and initiatives. Leverage agile and design-thinking principles to drive sustainable implementation. Support cross-functional execution of team outcomes.
  • Horizon Scanning: Identify new external developments and emerging issues within technology or business functions. Evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
  • Agile Delivery Planning: Manage the production of project and workstream plans. Ensure all activities are identified, appropriately organized, and resourced to deliver project objectives. Comply with the organization's project and program management framework.
  • Agile Backlog Management: Review the backlog of work for medium-sized activities. Reprioritize work and deploy resources to reduce costs and increase the value delivered to the business.
  • Agile Development Team Facilitation: Lead Scrum ceremonies, remove obstacles, and facilitate problem-solving, collaboration, and conflict resolution. Enable effective work delivery by development teams on large projects or programs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans for the agile team. Identify relevant stakeholders, develop positive relationships, and ensure appropriate stakeholder voice. Develop transparent work systems to ensure appropriate stakeholder visibility into execution and outcomes.
  • Agile Team Risk and Issue Management: Manage identification of risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with agile delivery execution and operationalization. Escalate external risks and impediments where appropriate and develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome concerns.
  • Agile Release Planning: Support the team in planning and replanning software releases for large projects or programs. Ensure transparency in delivery and enable planned benefit realizations as early as possible.
  • Agile Team Reporting and Review: Manage the agile team review process. Support the product owner in providing stakeholders with accurate and relevant information and key recommendations at established review points.
  • Continuous Improvement: Review existing operations in a major area of work. Implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvement outcomes.
  • Personal Capability Building: Act as a subject matter expert in an area of technology, policy, regulation, or operational management for the team. Maintain external accreditations and in-depth understanding of current and emerging external regulation and industry best practices through continuing professional development, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in project management, Scrum Master or in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in agile delivery management and digital transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, etc.) are a plus.
