We are searching for a General Manager to join our Parkland Station Yards Enhanced Care team based in Moncton, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity
- Providing leadership and oversight for the provision of quality services respecting the resident's right to individualized planning of services;
- Leading the team to ensure compliance with the NB Nursing Home Standards;
- Accountability of being fiscally responsible for the managing of campus financials;
- Create an environment where all three nursing homes are working toward the same vision and provide services in a coordinated and seamless manner on the campus;
- Managing available resources to promote optimal resident and employee satisfaction;
- Overseeing the process to respond to resident inquiries, complaints, and comments;
- Fostering the development of a quality culture that shapes the values, beliefs, and actions of all staff through the application of a continuous quality improvement philosophy;
- Leading the facility management team toward the organizational, facility and departmental goals and priorities;
- Works in conjunction with the Maintenance department to determine intermediate and long-term needs for maintenance and repairs;
- Working with the management team to promote communication and compliance to policies, procedures, and applicable legislation;
- Identifying and managing risk as it applies to the human, physical and financial resources;
- Developing and promote a safety culture by taking every reasonable precaution in the circumstances to ensure the health and safety of employees and all others in the workplace;
- Ensuring established division and department standards are adhered to by all staff.
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- Undergraduate degree in health-related field required;
- Master's degree in health-related field considered an asset;
- Minimum 7 years management experience;
- Ability to communicate in English is required; ability to communicate in French is considered an asset;
- Previous experience in working with seniors in long-term care or a seniors retirement living environment an asset;
- High energy and outgoing personality with demonstrated strength in building and maintaining high functioning teams;
- Diploma in gerontology an asset;
- Must be willing to participate in related professional affiliations as identified by the organization.
