Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Business Development Unit within Enterprise Services as a Program Consultant on a 2-year opportunity. The Business Development Unit provides support to enhance operational readiness and service delivery in Oracle Fusion. The team works closely with other areas of Service New Brunswick and GNB Departments involved with a transformational change initiative.

What will you be doing?

As a member of the Business Development Unit, you will be responsible to support efforts to enhance operational readiness through quality assurance, analysis, and delivery of training. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with business leads responsible for issue escalation to identify emerging needs and/or risks.
  • Conducting data analysis to support monitoring trends in operational issues.
  • Preparing dashboards.
  • Assisting the business areas supporting Oracle Fusion.
  • Assist with the development of performance measures and outcomes.
  • Co-lead the development and delivery of training related to enhanced use of the internal ticket system, data analysis products and related topics.
  • Support stakeholder communication and engagement.

What do you need to be successful?

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased. Written and spoken competence in English and French are required. Applicants must clearly demonstrate the essential qualifications to be given further consideration. Please state your language capability on your application and ensure that preferred language for assessment is clearly identified.

What qualifications can set you apart from other candidates?

Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications to be given further consideration.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:

  • Training in effective data visualization.
  • Training and experience in adult learning or corporate training.
  • Advanced Excel skills training and/or certificates.
  • Certification or experience in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt, Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Experience working in government.

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement(s) is also required:

  • Some weekday evenings and weekend work hours may be required.

Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate the following asset qualifications:

  • Experience in presenting to and facilitating varying group sizes and senior level management.

Salary: $64,974 - $89,622 annually. Pay Band 5 - Management Non-Union
