The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing projects, of varying sizes, from conception, through to delivery and lessons learned. The projects will range from internal engineering new product design and development to the management of customer orders involving the coordination of internal manufacturing, external suppliers and communication with our customers around the globe. This will include defining the project scope, identifying and managing potential risks, to development and management of the project schedule. Using the company project management process you will manage the project throughout its life, providing regular status reports on time, cost, risks and issues.

This position will be based at our facility in Hackett's Cove. It is anticipated that hybrid work will be available following an initial training period.

Responsibilities

You are a highly motivated individual, with a passion for project management, and proven experience. You strive to break down barriers and are continually searching for new and innovative ways to work with a project team. You love challenges and are constantly seeking to contribute and collaborate towards project success; always looking ahead to anticipate potential risks. You may have recently completed your certification, still working toward it, but have experience in the field or have equivalent project management experience (ideally internal project management).

You will have:

Prior Project Management experience in a similar environment, managing internal projects and liaising externally when necessary;

Possession of a Project Management certification (consideration will be given to candidates with equivalent specific project management work experience (utilising best practice) and desire to obtain certification);

Ability to gain Controlled Goods registration immediately (clear background and criminal checks available, Canadian Citizenship or PR);

Ability to travel internationally if required;

Multiple language skills would be an asset;

Well developed project management skills;

Superior written and verbal communication skills;

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment;

Ability to work well within a team as well as operating autonomously.

Qualifications

If this looks like a role where you can continue to develop your Project Management career, we look forward to hearing from you!

The ability to obtain, and maintain, Controlled Goods registration (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident), and other security registrations, will be a requirement of this role. Background checks will be undertaken.
