Service New Brunswick is seeking one individual to join the New Brunswick Translation Bureau, Enterprise Services Division, as a Manager, Translation Services, working in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Director, the Manager, Translation Services, will participate in streamlining the translation process; lead large projects in collaboration with Translation staff; and fill in for revisers and the director as required. The incumbent will supervise and provide guidance to revisers and translators, as well as prepare performance evaluations. The Manager, Translation Services, will also ensure the quality control of freelance translators.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a university degree, preferably in translation or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of work experience in translation and revision, 5 of which have been in a supervisory capacity. Experience in applying the fundamentals of management is also required. Status as a certified member of a recognized professional association in translation is mandatory. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Written and spoken competence at the superior level in the French language and at the advanced level in the English language is required.

- Weekday evening and weekend work hours will be required on occasion.

Annual Salary:
$90,480 - $109,486annually â?? Pay Band 7 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan.
