Job Summary
The Clerk IVB provides advanced administrative support of an extremely confidential nature to the Site Administrator of Saint Luke's Homes and other team members. This position is responsible for performing complex secretarial work, preparing and processing correspondence; scheduling appointments/meetings, attending meetings, recording, transcribing and distributing minutes; generating and preparing reports, as well as other duties as required. The Clerk IV answers, screens and directs telephone calls to the appropriate management and or staff; responds to telephone inquiries as appropriate. The Clerk IV must use initiative to organize and establish work priorities. This position requires that job duties be performed efficiently and effectively while at the same time maintaining respectful interaction with all staff, clients, patients and visitors.

Job Qualifications
Successful completion of a two-year Office Administration program from an approved/recognized college is required.
Successful completion of an approved/recognized medical terminology course is required.
Minimum of five years of experience within the last seven in a progressively responsible administrative role is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor others.
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
A satisfactory record of work performance and attendance is required.
*Proof of a current office administration and medical terminology is required. To be considered current, the program and course must have been completed within the last five years, unless it has been used in recent positions. This must be demonstrated on the application form.
