The Department of Marketing and Enterprise Systems in the Gerald Schwartz School of Business invites applications for a probationary, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Digital Marketing and Technology Management. The start date is to begin on July 1, 2025.

This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

The successful candidate should hold a PhD (or an ABD with evidence of significant progress toward completion of the degree) in Digital Marketing or Technology Management or a closely related field. The candidate must show a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service. The primary teaching responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to contribute to curriculum development and deliver in-person undergraduate courses in areas such as, but not limited to, Digital Marketing, Introductory Technology Management, AI for Marketing and Technology Management, Social Media Marketing and Content Marketing. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop a high-quality program of research and engage in service activities within the Gerald Schwartz School of Business and St. Francis Xavier University.

The Gerald Schwartz School of Business houses three departments and offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with several degree streams, a thesis-based honours program, a co-op option, and multiple international exchange opportunities. The Gerald Schwartz School is a signatory to PRME and the department of Marketing and Enterprise Systems is recognized for their progressive curriculum development.
