Position: Summer Student - Deskside Support

Location: Moncton, NB in office

Work Term: Typically 16 weeks

Responsibilities:

Technical Support:

  • Provide technical support for AL employees.
  • Troubleshoot laptop, application, and printer issues.

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist employees seeking technical help.
  • Prepare and replace laptops for new and existing employees.

Team Support:

  • Supplement the deskside support team for the summer.
Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with operating system support (Windows, MacOS).
  • Familiarity with mobile OS support (iOS, iPadOS, Android)

Requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be 19 years of age or older by the start date.
  • Residency: Must reside in Atlantic Canada.

Education Requirements:

  • Studying in post-secondary education in IT, computer science, or a related field (e.g. Network Administration).
