Position Purpose: Senior Analysts are responsible for leading small to medium subsets of larger projects and initiatives and individual processes that bring value to The Home Depot. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to leading teams on projects, effective communication to teams and other leaders, reviewing and understanding sales/financial data, identifying trends in business and the retail industry. A successful Senior Installation Services Analyst will possess and demonstrate strong leadership skills, analytical ability, and communication.

Position Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement of business processes.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly report on process performance and improvement initiatives to senior management. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about changes, benefits, and progress.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the performance of business processes. Monitor and analyze these metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure that processes meet their intended goals.
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, gather requirements, and ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Reporting and Visualisation: Develop and present reports and dashboards that clearly communicate data findings and insights to various audiences.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in formulating business strategies based on data-driven insights, helping to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Project Management: Lead or support projects related to data initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Tool Development and Implementation: Collaborate with IT teams to design, implement, and maintain data analytics tools and systems.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on data analytics tools and methodologies.
  • Analyze information and develop reports to drive the business and to improve the "bottom line".
  • Prepare analysis and forecasts for the use in the development of financial business decisions.
  • Liaise with business partners in divisional and corporate offices to ensure an effective communication process.
  • Create new and supplemental reporting methods to aid management in proactive problem solving.
  • Participate in NPV, ROI & budget preparations and analysis. Lead strategic projects Ensure accuracy and integrity of the reporting systems.
  • Provide analysis that adds value to the business and allows for the making of strategically sound decisions
  • In coordination with other departments conduct special financial and statistical studies.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solution.

Experience/Knowledge Required:

  • 3 to 5 years of analytical experience in a retail environment and/or financial analysis experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access and Power Point.
  • Self-starter, efficient, organized and able to produce high quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion.
  • Strong analytical skills and attentive to details. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
  • Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Flexible in attitude and approach to business solutions.
  • Demonstrate expertise in business analysis and financial modelling
