As part of our Marketing team, you will develop, implement, and guide strategies and plans for the general brand portfolio, with potential assignments for business or residential portfolios. This role involves actively contributing to the work while leading teams to achieve business objectives, meet performance targets, and strengthen corporate brand awareness and reputation. Key functions include:
- Strategic Marketing Leadership: Leading the development of strategic marketing plans behind existing or new launches of our programs, products, or services that support our corporate business goals as outlined within our strategic plan. Collaborating with your internal stakeholders (Program, Product, or Service Leads) and advising on marketing strategy for your defined portfolio.
- Execution and Team Management: Developing and overseeing the execution of marketing plans and initiatives for your portfolio, working with both agency partners and our internal creative, web, and communications departments. Potentially working with and managing (depending on which portfolio you are assigned to) at least one Program Marketing Associate (Implementation) who brings the portfolio strategy to execution.
- Brand Alignment and Special Projects: Ensuring the brand/s personalities (NB Power & SaveEnergyNB) are reflected in your marketing approach, copy, and creative. Managing other special projects as they arise.
Our ideal teammate will have:
- A Bachelor of Business Administration
- Five years of experience in marketing management with a proven record of building brands through strong strategies, creativity, innovation, and excellence in execution
- Three years of leadership experience
- Proven experience launching and managing new products, services, or programs from inception to commercialization.
- Expertise in end-to-end marketing campaign management, including strategy, execution, and post-campaign reporting.
- Strong project management, financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis), and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Exceptional understanding of customer journeys and the ability to influence outcomes at various stages.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, agency management (media buying, creative development), and marketing best practices.
- Strong writing skills for creative briefs, strategy documents, marketing content, and reports.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to navigate multi-priority environments and undefined processes.
- Strong influencing skills at all organizational levels, supported by a sales-oriented mindset and fact-based rationale.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License required.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
