The Authorizations and Compliance Division is responsible for the administration and management of regulatory programs and activities as well as responding to inquiries and concerns from the public related to departmental programs and environmental emergencies.
The Department of Environment and Local Government provides integrated stewardship through planning and management of land use, and waste management issues. It ensures effective enforcement of, and compliance with, environmental legislation and regulations and provides effective consultation and liaison with local governments, regional service commissions and Rural Districts on governance related issues.
What you will do? As a member of the Regional Operations & Compliance Branch, Region 3 (Moncton), you will be responsible to provide a wide range of secretarial and administrative support. The successful candidates will be responsible for responding to telephone inquiries, coordinating translation requests, mail sorting, photocopying, coordinating various meetings, filing and other duties as required.
Work environment
- Office location: Moncton (Dieppe)
- Standard hours of work: Monday - Friday, 8:15-4:30 (office schedule)

Essential qualifications
High school diploma, supplemented by a one (1) year post-secondary program in Office Administration, or in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Asset Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate:
- Previous experience with applications processing and claims processing;
- Extensive experience using MS Excel and Word;
- Experience working with confidential information.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

Wage
$1,625 to $1,971 bi-weekly, based on 36.25 hours per week
