Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Technology Services Division as the Manager â?? ERP Solution Services. The SNB Technology Services Division provides technology services to all Government of New Brunswick departments and Regional Health Authorities. With over 700 employees, we form one of the largest IT employers in the province with office locations in most cities and regions. Technology is often a core component to government services provided to the citizens of New Brunswick. We are mandated to deliver an extensive range of IT Services across various information technology disciplines. The Government of New Brunswick (GNB) is committed to transforming how it manages its operational business units and finances. GNBâ??s goal is to modernize its business processes through the implementation and operation of an Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) solution over the next 10+ years. The Manager â?? ERP Solution Services will play a role in the efficient and effective delivery of technology and business solutions needed to meet GNB's evolving business requirements and improvement of processes. The position reports to the Director, ERP Solution Services and will be responsible to lead and direct a senior, multi-disciplinary and highly skilled DevOps team assigned to develop and support innovative strategies to help transform GNB service delivery through the ERP Cloud Platform

What will you be doing?
The Manager â?? ERP Solution Services responsibilities will include but are not limited to: ERP Strategic Planning and Program Development, ERP Operational Support and Execution, Stakeholder/Partner Relationship Management , and Human and Financial Planning and Management. Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Collaboration with stakeholders (GNB leadership and subject matter experts across all parts of government) to build a holistic view of the ERP solution's role in fulfilling the organizationâ??s strategy, processes, information, and information technology requirements.
- Liaise with national, international, and industry stakeholders regarding new and emerging technologies and/or solutions within government.
- Provide ERP enterprise leadership to co-ordinate across GNB organizational and computing â??silosâ? to drive common approaches and expose information assets and processes across the enterprise through the ERP solution;
- Ensure that the ERP technology supports and stays aligned with business priorities as they evolve.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable, repeatable operations support model which can be referenced for future enterprise cloud platform solutions.
- Provide leadership and direction for the development and deployment of integrated application systems across the government environment consistent with applicable IT policies and procedures.
- Define clear ERP Program service offerings and develop a proper service communication and awareness plan that informs and educates organizational entities such as Technology Services and other lines of business on the benefits and value the ERP Solutions Services team can bring to their unique business needs.
- Develop and maintain required relationships with strategic stakeholders/partners to ensure GNB's goals of evolving its service delivery through the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiative are met.
- Manage relationship, including contract management, with ERP vendor to ensure a single point of contact with the vendor is maintained and services received from the vendor meet agreed to monetary and performance metrics;
- Motivate and encourage employees to accomplish goals and objectives by rewarding high performance, promoting empowerment, providing opportunities for growth & development, and effectively managing issues with the organization.
- Identify, develop, and execute on technical training and professional development plans for all staff.
- Manage and administer the budget in accordance with SNB organizational goals, objectives and priorities that provide high quality of service delivery.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or in another related discipline and a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, and processing environments OR a two (2) year College Diploma in a related discipline with a minimum of ten (10) years related experience with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, and processing environments.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Experience managing IT system delivery teams (DevOps), including managing, and resolving conflict
- Experience is establishing, monitoring, and evolving IT System Operational Support processes
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud SaaS.
- Experience with planning and managing software releases.
- Experience with SaaS or PaaS solutions or technologies
- Experience in assessing the impacts and risks of customization and configuration to support long term system and business process sustainability within a SaaS application.
- Experience with project management methodologies.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Some weekday evening and weekend work hours may be required on occasion.
- Some travel throughout the province may be required, and you must possess a valid driverâ??s license.
- Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
